2022 Rock-Around-The-School-A-Thon

Our rock-around-the-school-a-thon is a fun and fit activity for students, with all participants
striving to achieve some physical exercise while having fun. After the event, certificates of
participation will be given out.
Our goal is to help the PTO committee raise money to fund field trips, enrichment activities,
and school events. We hope that each family will participate in the sponsored
rock-around-the-school-a-thon to the best of its ability. Thank you very much for your
participation!
Rules

Students may start collecting pledges as soon as they receive the pledge sheets.
Reminder: Pledge sheets need to be passed in on Tuesday, September 20, 2022.

Pledges may be made by anyone. However, participants may not ask for pledges
from any of the staff members of East Auburn Community School. Each sponsor
making a pledge should write their own name and pledge amount. Students may
collect the pledge in advance but must keep pledges until all are collected.

On the day of the rock-around-the-school-a-thon event, each class will walk/dance
during a specified time. Each lap around the school is approximately .2 of a mile.
Each participant will be tracking the number of laps completed.
Students, please return pledge sheets with the money to your classroom teacher by
Tuesday, September 20, 2022.
